The short film series explores the journeys of five Syrian women and their inspiring stories of leadership in civil society. The films take us on a journey through different countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Germany, and France, as we witness the pioneering leadership of these women and learn about the role of women in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Through the personal stories of these women, the series highlights the unique challenges that they have faced and overcome in their respective fields. From a Syrian architect who has designed and built sustainable housing for refugees in Lebanon, to a women’s rights activist who has campaigned for gender equality in Germany, the stories of these women demonstrate the impact that female leadership can have in shaping our world.

The technical production of the series was led by Hasan Kattan, while the cinematography was handled by Rayad Alhussein and Thaer Mohammed.

In a world where women continue to be underrepresented in positions of leadership, “Superpower Partners” provides a much-needed platform to showcase the stories of these inspiring women. Through their journeys, we are reminded of the power of determination, perseverance, and the impact that one person can have on their community and beyond.
